Imagine having a virtual brainstorming partner that's available 24/7. Ready to offer suggestions, or help you plan the most thrilling plot twists imaginable.

Here we’ll learn how AI can streamline your planning process, leaving you more time to cozy up with your imagination. We will dive into planning a 6-book series; this includes character lists, settings, world-building, subplot arcs and 6-book foundational outlines.

By the end of this course, you'll have both the knowledge and the digital toolkit to build your cozy mystery series into solid stories your readers will love.

What you will learn

Anatomy of a prompt- solid skills on how to get the Large Language Model to understand what you want from it

Introduction to LLM models other than ChatGPT. They all have different “skillsets,” and we’ll discuss and use them.

Using the method in my best-selling “How to Write a Cozy Mystery Step-by-Step book and my Cozy Novel Workshops, we’ll learn the following:

How to set up prompts to help you create a solid list of characters for your series, with backstories and psychological profiles to keep you engaged as you write their stories…and your readers will love them!

How to prompt to create a cozy world your readers will enjoy returning to again and again.

I’ll show you ways to build out a 6-book series, with subplots that arc across each book. Guaranteed to keep your readers engaged throughout your series.

Then we’ll tap into my outlining plan to build foundational outlines for the 6 books in your series.

By the end of this class you'll have a solid understanding of how Large Language Models work, and in the process, develop a working series you can continue to refine and write.

Your Instructor - Natasha C. Sass

My love of technology of technology began when I was quite young. In 1981 my father took me in to Bell Labs where a (very large) computer was programmed to create a salutation when prompted with “Hi, my name is…”. I watched as a response printed out on the green and white lined dot matrix paper. “Good Morning, Natasha.”

As an adult, I enjoyed my time in corporate technical training where I learned to break down complicated steps and teach others how to quickly understand the software they used daily.

I have always been a writer, ever since I read my first novel at seven years old. I’ve chaired national conferences and taught at them, too. So now my separate worlds have united.

In the advent of AI and Large Language Models, I understand the importance of learning this new tool as a writer, and the myriad of ways it can help us accomplish those challenging steps in the process that we have resistance to. Whether it is brainstorming or getting the wording just right, language models can help, and I want to show you how.
